Program Security Officer Security Clearance

Position: Program Security Officer 3 with Security Clearance
MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Security Officer 3 (PSO
3) to join our team at our Chantilly, VA. The Program Security Officer will assist the Senior Program Security Director in providing general security support for a multi-disciplined and complex organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Engage with the organizations Policy and Security offices on data sharing/tech sharing requests from mission partners, both foreign and domestic.
* Assist on actions with the Program front office to include policy and governance lead for actively developing future classification guidance that will be integrated into programs.
* Interface with senior level mission partners across the DoD, IC, and foreign entities.
* Write policy documents in compliance with NRO standards
* Work security issues with the Internal and External Directorates and Offices in physical, personnel operational, technical, information, industrial and information system security

* Provide assistance and guidance to defense contractors in all industrial security disciplines

* Domestic Travel and OCONUS up to 25% Quarterly

Minimum Qualifications:

* HS Diploma and 12 or more years relevant security experience or Associates and 10 or more years relevant security experience or Bachelor's Degree and 8 or more years relevant security experience or Masters and 6 years relevant security experience

* Proficient experience in program protection (P2), risk management, security and/or classification policy, planning and execution of program security
* Proficient experience in CAPs and SAPs

* Substantive experience providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers, in support of secure and successful mission accomplishment

* Ability to analyze/work high-level complex information in depth, independently, prioritize and complete appropriate actions, and review and approve recommendations from others

* Consistently deliver articulate and effective briefings/presentations on complex topics to groups that may be large and/or include high-level decision makers

* Have a working knowledge and be able to implement Intelligence Community Directives

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other Government Agencies and mission partners

* Policy writing / template experience

* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate one-on-one or in large groups

* Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with senior government personnel

* Be successful in a fast-paced environment where priorities change constantly

* Demonstrated ability to identify and assess multiple sources for security classification determinations and issues Security Requirements:
* Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical requirements:

* Must be able to be in a stationary position 50% of the time

* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
