Role Description

We are seeking a Sales & Client Account Specialist to join our team in an on-site, full-time role at our Chantilly, VA location. The Sales & Client Account Specialist is responsible for generating new business, managing existing client relationships, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience from first contact through project completion. This role includes outside sales, inside sales, front counter customer service, and post-sale account management.

The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and passionate about helping local businesses meet their branding and signage needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct outside sales visits with small businesses, property managers, retail centers, schools, hospitals and local organizations.
  • Build strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
  • Develop territory outreach plans and prospect lists.
  • Present signage products and solutions to new clients.
  • Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and local business mixers.
  • Conduct site surveys, gather measurements, and evaluate installation requirements.
  • Provide accurate information to the production team for quoting and proofing.
  • Greet walk-in customers and answer incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Understand the customer’s needs and recommend suitable sign products.
  • Prepare quotes, design requests, job tickets, and work orders.
  • Maintain great communication between customers, designers, production staff, and installers.
  • Help customers select materials, finishes, and installation options.
  • Assist with basic design/layout direction when needed.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts.
  • Review proofs with customers for accuracy and approval.
  • Provide delivery timelines, production updates, and installation scheduling.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat business.
On-Time Delivery System Responsibilities
  • Using daily production tickets correctly
  • Ensuring accuracy of job information
  • Coordinating internal communication
  • Ensuring orders stay on schedule
Administrative / Store Operations
  • Organize and maintain customer files and digital records.
  • Enter accurate information for estimates, invoices, and job tickets.
  • Use point-of-sale (Core Bridge) and CRM software to track leads and orders.
  • Maintain a clean, professional front-counter environment.
QUALIFICATIONS Required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn sign products, materials, and production processes.
  • Comfortable doing measurements, site surveys, and basic field work.
  • Sales experience (inside or outside).
  • Strong computer skills (email, CRM, quoting tools).
  • Professional appearance and customer service mindset.
Preferred
  • B2B outside sales experience.
  • Experience in printing, signage, or marketing services.
  • Basic design software familiarity (Flexi, Illustrator, Corel

    DRAW).

  • Strong organizational skills; can manage multiple jobs at once.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to perform site surveys (climb ladders, carry tape measure, take photos).
  • Ability to move sample books, small substrate panels, and proof materials.
  • Valid driver's license required.
