• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and assist with their needs.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and communicate current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Educate guests on using features within the Target App (including Wallet) and direct them to enroll for Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns by following policy and cooperating with leadership to resolve guest needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and stock supplies when appropriate.
• Operate in a safe manner, comply with safety policies and training, and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) Orders, and DU Returns while adhering to applicable laws and store policies.
• Other duties based on business needs.

• Effective communication with positive language; attentive to guests’ needs.

• Ability to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; comfortable using multiple devices.

• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash-office activities as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including during Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
