Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tablet Press Operator to support Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) Manufacturing operations within a regulated pharmaceutical or nutraceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating modern tablet presses and related OSD equipment while strictly adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, clean, dismantle, and maintain state-of-the-art tablet presses and encapsulation equipment
- Perform tablet compression operations, including Tri-Layer Press systems
- Operate and support OSD processes such as granulation, encapsulation, coating, and fluid bed drying
- Execute manufacturing activities in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards
- Conduct in-process checks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and document production data accurately
- Support equipment changeovers, batch documentation, and cleaning validation requirements
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
- 4-20 years of hands-on experience in Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical OSD Manufacturing
- Proven experience with tablet press operation and encapsulation equipment
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Compression (Tri-Layer Press)
- Granulation
- Encapsulation
- Ackley Laser Drill or Tablet Printing
- Wurster Coating
- Coating
- Fluid Bed Dryers
- Bead Tower
- Strong understanding of cGMP regulations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
