Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Executive to lead mission‑critical data center integration projects for one of our top partners. Our partner is building and deploying state‑of‑the‑art data center infrastructure for some of the most demanding environments and clients in the world. These projects power hyperscale cloud platforms, global enterprise systems, and the electrical and mechanical backbones that keep the world’s biggest data ecosystems online.

The ideal Project Executive thrives at the intersection of strategic operations, large‑scale construction, electrical infrastructure, and data center white space integration. As a Project Executive, you’ll oversee complex, fast‑track data center builds across multiple regions, ensuring safety, quality, schedule certainty, and uptime while guiding high‑performing teams and strengthening long‑term client relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee the execution of multiple mission‑critical data center integration and fit‑out projects across assigned regions
  • Lead strategic planning, scheduling, and standardization efforts to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery
  • Manage customer relationships, vendor partnerships, and project team success across markets
  • Provide executive‑level oversight of project budgets, profitability, major changes, and financial exposure
  • Develop procurement strategies and ensure alignment across subcontractors and vendors
  • Champion safety culture, quality benchmarks, and constructability standards across all projects
  • Review and manage contractual terms, vendor agreements, risk exposure, and compliance obligations
  • Drive leadership development, team structure, and workforce planning within the project organization
  • Ensure project close‑out excellence and high levels of client satisfaction
  • Align project execution with company values, long‑term strategy, and operational goals
Required Qualifications (Non‑Negotiable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in mission‑critical, data center, or large‑scale construction
  • Demonstrated success delivering data center electrical builds and white space integration projects
  • Experience partnering with major general contractors
  • Experience supporting hyperscale cloud clients
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with portfolio values of $50M+
  • Strong financial, contractual, and risk management acumen
  • Experience leading senior project teams across regions
  • Proficiency with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore)
Desired Skills
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, low‑voltage, or integrated systems construction
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data centers
  • PMP or other professional certifications
  • Prior regional or executive‑level leadership experience
Work Environment
  • Hybrid office and field role
  • Occasional travel based on client and project needs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs during site visits
Salary Range and Compensation Package
  • $165,000–$215,000
    * depending on experience*
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance– effective the first of the month following hire, with plans currently offered through Cigna.
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan– automatic enrollment at 3% on your date of hire; company match up to 4% (with a 7% contribution needed to receive the full match), plus profit‑sharing opportunities.
  • Employer-Paid Life Insurance– coverage equal to 1x your salary.
  • Short‑Term Disability (STD)– fully paid
  • Voluntary Benefits– including Long‑Term Disability, supplemental life insurance (employee, spouse, children), Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity coverage.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)– accrue up to 160 hours (4 weeks) annually, beginning after 60 days of employment.
