Koniag Government Services is looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern to support our Mar Com team. This is a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities- Content Creation & Management:
Draft and review content for social media (Linked In), blogs, corporate Intranet, and website updates. - Social Media & Digital Marketing:
Update and post content and monitor engagement - Event Support:
Assist in the planning and execution of special events, webinars, and virtual or in-person outreach activities. - Administrative Support:
Maintain marketing supply inventory, organize digital assets, and assist with general office tasks.
- Education:
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field. - Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Microsoft SharePoint highly desired. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) or CMS platforms (Word Press) is a plus. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of AP Style preferred. Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. - Creativity: A creative eye for design, photography, or videography is highly valued.
- Organizational
Skills:
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. - Hands-on experience creating content and supporting marketing and communications initiatives in the Government Contracting and Information Technology industry.
- Potential for academic credit
