The Opportunity

CACI has an immediate need for a Software Tester (ST) to support our Client in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Define and develop test standards for the testing of information technology products, equipment, or systems in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
  • Review and evaluate complex test specifications, test results, test trends, and implement corrective action as needed.
  • Determine optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions to assure compliance with applicable specifications.
  • Identify and recommend product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.
  • Combine customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.
  • Coordinate integrated testing activities, reviews, and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
  • Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.
  • Work with a friendly team with growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that all tests are conducted in a proper and orderly manner.
  • Motivate test team members and keep them on track.
  • Stay abreast of emerging and changing software technologies design practices to provide solutions that are leading edge, competitive and cost effective.
  • Establish expected standards for quality assurance and communicate them to the entire test team.
  • Provide feedback to testers, setting quality standards and helping improve their work.
  • Develop test automation strategy for projects in AGILE methodology.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5 – 7 years of related experience.
  • Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Experience in Agile environment, Scrum, Automated testing, Security testing, MS TFS, Zap (security testing).
  • Good organizational, leadership, project management, negotiation, people management, time management, problem‑solving, analytical and logical skills.
Desired
  • ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with load testing.

Pay Range

$86,600 – $181,800
