Senior Principal​/Cyber Software Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Senior Principal/Staff Cyber Software Engineer with Security Clearance
Overview Byte Systems, a subsidiary of VTG, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment. What will you do?

Required Qualifications:

Significant Java and Python development experience.

Experience with SQL Shell Script experience Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a Security+ privileged user supporting deployed systems testing

Experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat Open Shift or another variant) Familiarity with NiFi

Experience with cross-domain systems

Experience with JavaScript. Do you have what it takes? For Senior Principal level: A Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement. For Staff level: A Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience;

OR a Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 9+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
