Description:

The Mid-level Systems Administrator will install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software-related problems to support a Government client. The successful candidate will work independently with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues; will be security minded; and will have 5 or more years of experience with skills in Red Hat Linux, VMWare ESXi administration, Net App Storage administration, Java, application administration, Ansible, infrastructure Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Documentum.

Mid-level Systems Administrator

Job Duties:

* Maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems

* Administers, installs, and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems

* Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system backup, recovery, and file maintenance

* Schedules, installs, and tests system software upgrades

* Configures software and resolves technical problems

* Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements

* Other duties as assigned Security Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret Clearance required upon applying. Must be eligible to earn SCI in the future. Experience Requirements : 5 or more years of experience in the field. AWS, Kubernetes experience is required. Education Requirements :
Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, business and management, or related field Desired Skills / Qualifications : R ed Hat Linux, VMWare ESXi administration, Net App Storage administration, Java, application administration, Ansible, infrastructure O&M, AWS , Documentum Location :

Physical Requirements :
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Travel Required :
