Systems Administrator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Virtualization / VDI Systems Administrator to support a distributed, multi-site enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise virtualization solutions, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), storage systems, and Windows-based environments. This role requires the ability to translate customer requirements into scalable, secure virtualized solutions while maintaining high availability and performance across geographically dispersed networks.

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise virtualization and VDI environments.
• Configure and manage VMware infrastructure, including vCenter, ESXi, Horizon, and related technologies.
• Automate system administration tasks using Power Shell and VMware Power
  
  CLI.
• Support enterprise storage infrastructure, including NAS/NFS configurations.
• Administer Windows Server environments, Microsoft Exchange, and associated services.
• Support multi-site networking environments to ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Implement and maintain secure virtualization solutions in compliance with organizational security requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Geography, Remote Sensing, Intelligence Studies, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, or Cisco virtualization platforms.
• Demonstrated experience administering and supporting VMware vCenter and ESXi, or Horizon and Citrix, within distributed network environments to enable VDI communications.
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into fully deployed virtualized solutions.
• Experience supporting distributed, multi-site enterprise networking environments.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise storage technologies, including Network Attached Storage (NAS) using Network File System (NFS).
• Experience utilizing VMware Power
  
  CLI with Microsoft Power Shell for automation and system management.
• Experience administering Omnissa/VMware App Volumes.
• Strong experience supporting and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Working knowledge of SQL commands and relational database management systems.
