The Customer applies technical resources to accelerate the timely, reliable, and secure delivery of open source data, information, and insights. The role involves developer support for tailored solutions addressing global collection challenges. Work may be performed independently or within a team environment depending on the specific problem statement. Responsibilities include the design, deployment, and maintenance of Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based resources.

• Collaborate with the Customer’s technical lead to architect, deploy, and maintain multiple, fast‑turnaround capabilities for high‑priority collection efforts.
• Coordinate with multiple entities, including mission partners, to ensure deliverables meet defined requirements and tradecraft needs.
• Create and maintain collection capabilities and deliverables within the Customer’s AWS environment using approved services.
• Validate collected data to ensure it meets format requirements.
• Maintain source code in the Customer’s Git Hub repository.
• Document source code and execution procedures.
• Operate and maintain collection capabilities to adapt to changes in target, technologies, data formats, and naming conventions.

• Demonstrated experience with Python.
• Demonstrated experience with geo‑spatial software, programming packages, and data formats.
• Experience creating and managing AWS resources—including EC2, Lambda, S3, and IAM policies.
• Experience using Git Hub.

• Experience deploying AWS applications with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). (Ansible and Terraform are not substitutes.)
• Experience building and deploying containerized applications.
• Experience with search engines such as Elasticsearch, Lucene, or AWS Open Search.
• Experience managing SQL and No

• Experience with non‑AWS cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
• Certifications:
• AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Sys Ops Administrator.

• This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of citizenship will be confirmed to meet federal government security requirements.
• The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
• Clearance verification will be required prior to offer of employment.

• Position is expected to be 100% onsite in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
• Local travel by privately owned vehicle may be required as needed.
• Temporary Duty travel outside the Continental United States may be requested and approved by the Customer.
