Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Cloud Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia . Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Cloud Developer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure and self-managed Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions, with emphasis on Kubernetes clusters deployed and maintained on EC2 instances. Candidates with a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and AWS Solutions Architect certification are strongly preferred.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Architect, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using a broad range of AWS services.
* Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters on EC2 (non‑EKS).
* Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
* Ensure security, performance, and reliability across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud-native application development. Desired Qualifications
* Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) strongly preferred.
* AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.
* 3+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure experience.
* Direct experience managing self-hosted Kubernetes clusters.
* Proficiency with Docker, Linux, and automation tools.
