Senior System Administrator Security Clearance

Position: Senior System Administrator with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is a full-time onsite position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing Tier II IT Systems support on a wide range of technologies, including: VMware vCenter, Horizon View, Site Recovery Manager, Solar Winds, Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), GEMOne, HP SANs, Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems

* Diagnosing and resolving the performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed above

* Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accomplish repetitive tasks

* Participating in processes throughout all phases of the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests

* Performing requirements analysis, requirements gathering, and integration for all platforms listed above

* Providing direction and guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers

* Investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel

* Working on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment

* Willingness to occasionally work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) to support system maintenance or service outages

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of IT experience

* DoD 8570 IAT Level II/8140 level Intermediate Certification required, ex., Security+, SecurityX

* DoD 8570 computing environment certification required within 6 months of hire ex., MCSA, VCP, or equivalent

* Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers;
Microsoft Windows 10; administering Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and workstation and server hardware; administering Microsoft Office 2010/2016; administering DNS, Group Policy, and PKI; administering vSphere, Horizon View, data backup, and antivirus software; basic networking including DHCP/TCPIP

* CISCO networking devices

* TACLANE encryption devices

* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems, VMWare, and CISCO systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems, including DNS, Group Policy, and PKI

* Good working knowledge of applying security best practices from DISA and/or vendors.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Basic networking

* Experience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as Remedy or Service Now

* ITIL Foundations certification.

* Scripting experience or willingness to learn. Security Clearance Requirements:
* Must have a current or active Top Secret security clearance, and be willing and able to obtain a polygraph

Physical Requirements:

* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
