Data Center Technician – AWS Infrastructure Operations
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain – and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
Key Job Responsibilities- Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.
- Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
- Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
- Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment.
- On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls.

Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in networking
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
