Electronics Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring an Electronics Technician to support our client as the focus on various electronic systems initiatives. This is a direct placement role on-site at Chantilly, Virginia. The Electronics Technician will work on designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services. These include intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, and test systems for proper operation.
• Install raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels per industry standards.
• Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot copper and fiber optic issues and programmable components.

• 5+ years of Security Systems Experience, electronics installation or maintenance.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph is REQUIRED

• Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
  * depending on experience*
