Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment
• Patch cabling between equipment
• Install fiber and copper cabling
• Ensure proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation
• Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including network device configuration and low‑level application interaction
• Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking completed for new equipment
• Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
• Move and lift computer equipment up to 40 lbs
• Be available to work in an environment that operates 24/7
• Up to 20% travel within geographical work area required; some travel outside traditional work area may be requested, including internationally

• Walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Work at heights and from ladders
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted; participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more
• Must be able to lift loads of up to 40 pounds and carry them for short distances
• Continuously climb and descend stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs)
• Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance
• Push or pull heavy objects into position
• Daily travel between sites may be required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work overtime as required

• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
