Windows System Administrator - TS/SCI with CI Poly

McLean, VA

Pay range: $/yr – $/yr

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required at time of application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems.
• Maintain integrity and security of servers and systems through approval and processing of patches.
• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
• Research and recommend hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup and recovery.
• Monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• May program in an administrative language.
• Leverage scripting and system automation tools.
• Oversee implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.
• Provide advice and training to end-users.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Work evenings and weekends when required with little advanced notice.
• Use VMware to build and maintain virtual machines.
• Maintain systems documentation.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience.

Minimum five (5) years of related systems engineering experience in systems administration and analysis.
