Systems Administrator
Windows System Administrator - TS/SCI with CI Poly
McLean, VA
Pay range: $/yr – $/yr
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required at time of application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems.
- Maintain integrity and security of servers and systems through approval and processing of patches.
- Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
- Research and recommend hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup and recovery.
- Monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- May program in an administrative language.
- Leverage scripting and system automation tools.
- Oversee implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.
- Provide advice and training to end-users.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Work evenings and weekends when required with little advanced notice.
- Use VMware to build and maintain virtual machines.
- Maintain systems documentation.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience.
Minimum five (5) years of related systems engineering experience in systems administration and analysis.
