Automated Litigation Support Lab Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced

Department: Finance

Base Pay Range: $/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of lab data processing services, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement processing approaches for electronic files that comply with applicable ESI specifications.
  • Consult with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications, and participate in teleconferences as requested.
  • Identify and document deficiencies in incoming productions, providing detailed notice to case attorneys.
  • Keep clients informed of lab activities, including deadlines, technical challenges, and resource availability.
  • Provide web‑hosting support for unsupported cases managed by the lab.
  • Manage a team of eDiscovery professionals on a client‑site laboratory: scheduling, requirements assessment, task assignment, deadline enforcement, progress reporting, and quality control of deliverables.
  • Advise client attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), especially Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
Qualifications
  • Extensive Relativity experience; preferred Relativity certifications (RCA and/or Relativity Analytics Specialist).
  • At least eight years of eDiscovery experience, including electronic files processing, data conversion, culling, quality assurance, database loads, and data analysis.
  • At least five years of managerial or supervisory experience in an eDiscovery environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
  • Proficiency and certifications with document review platforms such as iConect, Relativity, Venio, or equivalents.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field (waivers only approved by the Contracting Officer).
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office Suite, and Live Note.
