Job Description:As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in the design, deployment, testing, and operation of our Dev Sec Ops infrastructure tools. You'll be the backbone of our Operations and Maintenance team, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of the forensic and investigative systems that drive our mission.
Requirements:- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
- This position is onsite 5 days a week in Chantilly, VA
- May require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Dev Ops or a related field
- Proven experience with the SAFe Agile framework
- Strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
- Demonstrated track record implementing Dev Sec Ops practices in secure government environments
Expert-level proficiency with:
- Infrastructure as Code:
Terraform, Ansible - Containerization & Orchestration:
Docker, Kubernetes - Search & Indexing Tools:
Elastic Search, Apache Solr - Repository Managers: JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus
- Database Management:
MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL - Cloud Platforms: AWS Gov Cloud, SC2S, C2S
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Vx Rail
- Monitoring Frameworks:
Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana - Security & Networking: SSH, SSL/TLS, Key Vaults
- Server Technologies:
Apache Tomcat - Dev Sec Ops Best Practices
- Operating Systems:
Linux (Rocky, Red Hat, Amazon, Ubuntu) and Windows
Experience:
- Data processing, automation, and ETL workflow orchestration
- CI/CD pipeline implementation and optimization using Git Lab or similar systems
- Network architecture and security in classified environments
- Hybrid cloud and on-premises solution integration
- SAFe Agile methodologies
- Security accreditation processes
- Design & Deploy:
Architect, deploy, test, certify, and maintain Dev Sec Ops infrastructure tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Troubleshoot & Resolve:
Address interoperability issues across operating systems, libraries, components, and application dependencies. - Infrastructure Management:
Deploy and configure services leveraging infrastructure as a service provider to support robust and scalable solutions. - Server Configuration:
Set up and manage Linux-based servers for dynamic web applications. - Debugging:
Tackle and debug issues within cluster-based computing architectures to maintain smooth operations. - Monitoring:
Install, configure, and maintain open-source monitoring and observability tools to ensure the health of the systems. - CI/CD Integration:
Collaborate closely with development and security teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines adhering to Dev Sec Ops best practices. - Automation:
Use scripting and programming (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate deployments and enhance system reliability. - Agile Participation:
Engage actively in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities for continuous improvement and delivery. - Multi-Enclave Support:
Operate within multi-enclave environments including Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret. - Incident Response:
Respond to and resolve critical incidents promptly within designated timelines.
