Overview
CACI is seeking a talented Technical Operator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will support development of technical solutions and research network vulnerabilities to support cyber operations. The Technical Operator focuses on priority mission requirements, conducts technical debriefs, and supports cyber operations management as necessary, possibly traveling to support operational objectives.
Join a department focused on Cyber Operations, grow across programs, and participate in team outings and development events such as Capture the Flag events, internal R&D opportunities, and prepaid certification courses.
Responsibilities- Provide technical requirements for mission to non-technical audiences
- Draft and coordinate operational correspondences
- Oversee testing conducted by another entity
- Enable technical operations
- Brief technical capability to audiences of varied technical and operational backgrounds
- Coordinate with other client offices and tech bases to drive enablement solutions
- Analyze information for paths forward
- Travel for technical exchanges as required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a related field
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Knowledge of cyber capabilities & tools
- Experience working with client partners and stakeholders
- Ability to design and deploy bespoke infrastructure
- Experience drafting and coordinating correspondence, driving collaboration and partnerships
- Familiarity with Network Routing, software applications, firmware, cloud, and datacenters
- Basic understanding of computer infrastructure devices and their application in enterprise networks
- Understanding of computer network exploitation concepts, tradecraft and tools
- Ability to provide operational insight/feedback to testing and development of capabilities as directed by Sponsor
- Team-based approach to solving complex problems
- Strong teamwork and ability to work in a high‑impact, busy office
- Ability to distill and summarize technical concepts for non‑technical audiences
- Self‑starter with sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Experience enabling scalable collections
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex ideas to varied audiences
- Experience working with client partners
- Understanding of blended operations
- Experience submitting operational requests to stakeholders

Pay Range$94,400 – $198,200 per year
