Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer

Location: Chantilly, VA

• Seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in designing and developing robust BI solutions.
• The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Power BI reporting, data modeling, Snowflake architecture, and data visualization best practices.
• Data Integration:
  Develop datasets from diverse sources including RDS MySQL, Redshift, Athena, Excel, and CSV files.
• Dashboard Creation:
  Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Amazon Quick Sight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• KPI Development:
  Build custom calculated fields to create tailored Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and design robust data models.
• Python Utilization:
  Apply basic Python coding skills for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks. Experience with Data Bricks and PySpark is a plus.
• Data Quality Assurance:
  Implement and maintain data quality checks and ensure proper data lineage.
• Troubleshooting:
  Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations.
• SQL Development:
  Write efficient SQL scripts to create datasets tailored to client requirements for dashboard development.
• Performance Optimization:
  Debug and optimize stored procedures to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Proficiency in writing SQL scripts specifically in MySQL, Redshift and Athena.
• Experience in debugging and optimizing stored procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools such as Amazon Quick Sight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Basic Python coding skills for effective data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including schema design, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

• Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and automation; exposure to Data Bricks and PySpark is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to stakeholders.
