Human Resources Generalist

Pay Range: $25.00 – $26.00

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of human resources administration functions, including conducting hiring processes, recruiting, initial training, new associate orientation, administering benefits, entering associate information into the automated resource system, maintaining and personnel files.

Essential Functions:

• Assists with recruiting, screen applicants, interview, schedule first day of work, and prepare documents for employee files.
• Conduct first day of work / orientation.
• Assist with maintaining officer training records.
• Update and maintain confidential employee files to document actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
• Examine employee files to answer inquiries: provide information to authorized people.
• Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.

Competencies:

• Understanding of human resources administrative processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances.
• Proficient user of MS Office.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 2 years of related experience
