Overview
Summary: Under the direction of the department director, provides quality speech pathology services through evaluation of patients and provides the prescribed treatment to restore function and prevent disability.
Speech Language Pathologist (CCC, SLP) to support needs as needed Monday through Friday for acute primary, outpatient secondary coverage. We will consider speech clinicians who are in their fellowship if their clinical experience while in school included acute care. We require 2 weekend days per month (can be 1 weekend or 2 separate days over 2 weekends). Will accept more weekends if able to support them.
Required to work 1 holiday annually minimum. Our SLP team sees adults in acute care and has both adults and pediatrics in outpatient care. Must have clinical fellowship hours completed to be considered for position.
- 2 years hospital experience preferred.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) - SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) certification
