Responsibilities

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the government space? That's why we need you, an experienced Acquisition Technical Specialist, to help provide daily support to triage, prepare, facilitate, and administer acquisition actions managed through the customer's organization.

The candidate assists the customer in developing acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans, and qualify vendor candidates. The specialist is involved through the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out. This is an opportunity to build your experience while serving critical missions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proactively collaborate with Mission Partners, Sponsor Leadership, and functional teams at all levels to ensure timely handling of acquisition actions and foster effective communication.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of RFP documentation through the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Participate in developing acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids.
  • Assist with the development of pre-award technical documentation (solicitation, SOW, Technical Evaluation Plan (TEP) and Technical Evaluation Report).
  • Document and track detailed actions/steps executed throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Qualifications

Required:

This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering and/or acquisition processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure.

  • Requires 10-12 years with BS/BA or 8-10 years with MS/MA or 5-7 years with Ph.D.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Experience updating Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Experience with providing cost estimate
  • Experience with generating Justification and Approval (J&A)
  • Experience with generating Determination and Findings (D&F)

Desired:

  • Ability to work for specific IC customer and familiarity with that customer's processes and organization.
  • Familiarity with overall GEOINT ground customer, technical familiarity with mission control and/or processing of one or more GEOINT systems, including sensor knowledge.
