Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience.

We are seeking a Satellite Flight Test Subject Matter Expert to support SDA’s mission.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the Capability Leads (Tranche level) and Capability Test Teams (Enterprise level) to develop the test plans, procedures and coordinate all logistics for executing tests related to the capabilities (multiple capabilities may be tested in one test).
• Provide systems engineering guidance in the development of test and evaluation plans, system verification plans, and other systems engineering processes and documents
• Oversees development of the detailed testing approach in accordance with Enterprise strategy.
• Develops test plans, procedures, and approvals.
• Coordinates test execution and serves as Test Director for all events

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or relevant technical discipline
• 20+ years experience
• Technical and analytic understanding of satellite testing processes
• Understanding of satellite acquisition and operations technology best practices
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing detailed test plans
• Strong written and oral communications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
