Overview
VTG is seeking a Systems Engineer / Technical Advisor in Chantilly VA to support a government customer by guiding technical development, validating requirements, tracking milestones, and ensuring multi‑team system integration. This role supports technical leads and ensures that delivered capabilities meet mission needs.
Responsibilities- Advise government technical leads on engineering decisions
- Review, refine, and verify system requirements and deliveries
- Develop and track program milestones and technical schedules
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies across development teams
- Facilitate integration of components from multiple development groups
- Support verification, validation, and readiness reviews
- TS/SCI with Poly Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- 5–10 years of systems engineering or SETA experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting government customers
- Strong understanding of requirements management and V&V
- Cybersecurity background preferred
