Cyber​/IT SETA

Overview

VTG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SETA with IT and Cyber Security focus in Chantilly VA.

• Provides detailed and focused engineering support (hardware and software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Defines system requirements and CONOPS and refines them as needed.
  • Project management responsibilities as necessary to include project documentation and communication plans.
  • Technical expertise and meeting facilitation across multiple groups to capture requirements. Takes and distributes minutes and actions.
• Provides support to discover and manage cyber risk, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans and tracking system for Authorization and Accreditation and Authority to Operate.
  • Develops and implements security solutions in alignment with security policy and mission requirements. Conducts cyber security assessments, security design engineering, and threat monitoring of non-IT systems.

TS/SCI with Poly Required

Bachelors plus at least ten (10) years of experience

Defines system requirements and CONOPS and refines them as needed.
• Experience in project management responsibilities to include project documentation and communication plans.
• Technical expertise and meeting facilitation across multiple groups to capture requirements.
• Experience taking and distributing minutes and actions.
• Experience providing support to discover and manage cyber risk, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans and tracking system for Authorization and Accreditation and Authority to Operate.
• Ability and experience to develop and implement security solutions in alignment with security policy and mission requirements, conduct cyber security assessments, security design engineering, and threat monitoring of non-IT systems.
