DSP Communications Engineer – Overview

HRUCKUS, a Veteran‑Owned management consulting firm, is seeking DSP Communications Engineers with TS/SSBI/SCI clearance to serve in Tucson, AZ;
Denver, CO; and Chantilly, VA. The role involves creating custom digital‑signal‑processing solutions and communications systems supporting national‑security defense.

• Conceive, analyze, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software‑based solutions for modern communications systems.
• Develop algorithms, control hardware, design GUIs, and develop databases.
• Demonstrate disciplined work habits leading to well‑structured, documented, and carefully tested products.
• Direct interaction with end users and customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or an equivalent field.
• Demonstrated capability in scientific programming with C, C++, or similar high‑level language on Unix/Linux.
• Strong background in DSP or communications theory.

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of practical system development and deployment experience.
• X‑Midas or MATLAB experience.

• LIDAR theory, applications, or simulation.
