This position merges direct student instruction with cutting-edge program design, allowing you to guide individual reading development while constructing a replicable system for foundational literacy implementation across multiple school sites.

• Conducting adaptive literacy workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, reading comprehension, and fluency
• Creating individualized motivational programming that resonates with children and fosters enduring enthusiasm for reading
• Examining student achievement data to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify practical insights
• Working alongside technology teams to assess and refine AI-powered literacy platforms

• Bachelor's degree with specialized certification in reading pedagogy (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to students in early elementary grades
• Capable of evaluating reading proficiency levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated lesson plans independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to adjust instruction based on student interaction patterns
• Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without visa sponsorship requirements
• Available to work on-site at one of our campus locations:
  Chantilly (Washington), VA;
  San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
