We are seeking a Defense and Intelligence Capture Manager to join our team to contribute to our success and solve problems with innovation through intelligence.
The Defense and Intelligence Capture Manager is responsible for leading the identification of new business opportunities to achieve the objectives of the corporate Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and associated revenue and profit targets. This position requires a hands-on individual who has credibility and insight into customer and competitive landscapes across a variety of Department of War and Intelligence Community customers.
Responsibilities include leading capture strategies set forth by the VP of Strategic Growth, managing strategic initiatives, managing proposal teams, and developing marketing strategies for the Defense and Intelligence business unit. This role requires collaboration with various organizational leaders to build consensus around growth strategies and tactics, with a demonstrated track record of assembling teams to deliver winning proposals and execution. Experience in end-to-end capture of $100M services contracts on government acquisition, specifically in the Defense and Intelligence Community, is preferred.
DutiesDuties include, but are not limited to:
- Executes a comprehensive Capture Strategy aligned with System High's mission, vision, and strategic growth goals.
- Executes BD plans and strategy to support the achievement of System High's objectives based on market research, customer trends, and competition.
- Assists in the development of the BD pipeline, assessing internal synergies, probability of win, and required resources and investments.
- Executes capture of new and organic business awards by developing strategic partnerships, teams, and solutions responsive to customer needs.
- Executes sound BD processes to streamline capture management, proposal development, and operations in expanding System High's Intel and Counterintelligence footprint across Defense and Intel customers.
- Delivers regular briefings to the VP of Strategic Growth and EVP of Operations and Growth outlining BD program effectiveness.
Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Proven track record of successful lead generation, prospect management and winning competitions for the Defense and Intelligence Community; capable of growing the business through relationships founded on trust and integrity.
- Ability to comprehend corporate capabilities related to Program Protection, Intelligence, and Counterintelligence, and apply them to customer protection challenges; understand and reflect the Burn Blue culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, negotiation, organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to collect real-time intelligence and use it to develop critical demand solutions and winning capture strategies.
- Develop and leverage a thriving business network to increase market share, improve System High's access, brand, and credibility.
- Ability to present information effectively to C-Level leadership, prospects, and public forums.
- Operational experience in Government and/or military related to national security, defense, and intelligence is strongly desired but not required.
