XMSTART is looking to add an experienced and strategic full-time Property and Records Management Specialist to join our team, in Chantilly, VA
. This position is 100% Onsite.
This position provides support to the front office and various other departments. The chosen candidate will facilitate seamless operational assistance by overseeing logistics and managing the records information program, ensuring that crucial records are maintained in accordance with the organization's guidelines and policies.
Security Clearance Requirements- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
- Assist the customer in accomplishing procurement, property management, vehicle management, and transportation functions
- Support the initial, periodic, and exit inventories of all accountable property, and identify, report, and track status and disposition of any missing items
- Develop and execute logistics processes and procedures
- Document and track workforce requirements relating to workspace and facility requests utilizing customers databases
- Administer the records information management program
- Accomplish required training
- Complete office records inventory and assign appropriate retention categories in accordance with record keeping policy
- Ensure vital records are identified, protected, and available
- Support continuity of operations testing
- Develop and maintain file plans
- Archive files
- Retire or store records using the Records Management Application
- Review inactive files for destruction
- Maintain records of formal agreements
- Ensure personnel do not remove Federal records without appropriate authorization
- Ensure the preservation of permanent records and disposition of all inactive records
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong written correspondence skills
- Ability to synthesize complex actions and adhere to tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
