Summary
Chenega’s Security Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our high-impact team in Chantilly, VA
. This is your chance to play a critical role in managing government contracts.
This position is hybrid, two days a week in our Chantilly, VA office
Responsibilities- Manage assigned contracts and subcontracts for program managers and corporate staff.
- Assist with managing bids and proposals with pricing, contracts review, representations and certifications, and FAR clauses.
- Manage contract modifications, requests for equitable adjustments, and special projects for contractual clauses and pricing.
- Track all contractual actions including NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, prime contracts, and modifications.
- Type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, and business plans.
- Plan and coordinate multiple presentations, disseminating information, and organize program and customer-wide events.
- Interface with Operations, Program Control Management, Chenega Anchorage staff.
- Handle confidential and non-routine information.
- Organize and prioritize large volumes of information.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
You'll Bring These
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in a business-related field. Experience may be substituted for formal education.
- 0-2 years of experience in the project/contract administration field; background working within a government contractor preferred.
- Substitution of additional relevant education and/or experience for stated qualifications may be considered.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to provide varied technical and administrative expertise; use initiative and sound judgment within established guidelines; organize, coordinate, and prioritize assignments with varying deadlines; work effectively under pressure with frequent interruptions; handle confidential and sensitive assignments; organize and maintain confidential records, reports and files.
