Hydraulic Field Service Technician - Channelview Texas

Responsibility:

The responsibility of the Hydraulic Field Service Technician is as listed but not limited to:

a. Service

i. Conducting service calls,

ii. Inland and/or Offshore majors,

iii. Inland and/or Offshore surveys,

iv. Maintaining a high level of communication and service to our customers.

v. Responsible for equipment and consumables for the job and any items to complete the task(s) asked of them.

vi. Responsible for the cleanliness of the technician's vehicle.

vii. Responsible for helping keep the shop area clean.

b. Project Management:

i. Work with the Hydraulic Service Manager, Division Manager, and/or Office Coordinator on scheduling repair and re-man projects to ensure projects are completed on time.

ii. Responsible for letting the Service Manager know if help is needed on projects to complete the repairs in the allotted time.

c. Inventory and Recording:

i. Responsible for ensuring all parts taken from inventory is written down, and all paperwork is turned into the Inventory Department.

ii. Responsible for ensuring all parts not used on the job are returned to the Inventory Control Department.

Qualifications

a) Education (High School or GED Diploma)

b) Practical Experience

c) TWIC Card

d) Valid Driver's license

e) Minimum of 2 years of experience in the marine service industry

f) Good communication skills
