Job SummaryAs a Hydro Blaster/Field Technician, you will set up and assist with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other maintenance tasks. You will operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment, including ultra high‑pressure pumps, specialized cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment. You will represent HPC-Industrial to clients and maintain safety standards.
Responsibilities- Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment, including ultra high‑pressure pumps and specialized cleaning equipment.
- Operate vacuum trucks and cutting equipment as required on the job.
- Examine surfaces after cleaning to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
- Conduct routine maintenance on all equipment, including industrial vacuuming equipment and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Vocational preparation and on‑the‑job training in safety and equipment operation.
- English language proficiency sufficient for safety training and emergency instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with company’s driving policy.
- OSHA certification may be required.
- Knowledge of emergency equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers).
- Must provide or be able to obtain Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
