Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more.

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? What matters most is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.

• Set schedule:
  Dupont Rotating 6am-6pm | 6pm-6am 42 hours a week
• Competitive hourly wage of $17.00–$21.00 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Run daily drills professionally and efficiently
• Multitask, answer calls, and run CCTV reports

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent focus abilities
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid TWIC card (not expired, hard copy)
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
