We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a Security Guard who will monitor and oversee the incoming and outgoing activity of employees, customers, and guests at our plant, ensuring a safe and secure environment. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Work Schedules- Full‑time Security Guard – Monday – Friday 11 pm – 7 am
- Full‑time Security Guard – Saturday/Sunday 6 pm – 6 am and Monday/Wednesday 2 pm – 10 pm
- Part‑time Security Guard – Saturday/Sunday 8 pm – 8 am
- Full‑time Second Shift Security Guard – Monday – Friday 2 pm – 10 pm
- Overnight Security Motor – Hurricane Harbor Splashtown
- Monitor and observe the activity of employees, customers, and guests within the plant premises to ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security risks or breaches.
- Control access to the plant by verifying credentials and maintaining detailed records of visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
- Operate surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and report any suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel if necessary.
- Perform inspections of entry points, exits, and restricted areas to ensure they are properly secured.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and visitor conduct.
- Prepare detailed incident reports for any security or safety issues encountered during the shift.
- Assist employees, customers, and guests with directions, general inquiries, or emergencies as needed.
- Participate in regular safety and security training to stay updated on best practices and company standards.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a security role.
- Valid TWIC Card required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Must meet criteria for safety‑sensitive functions according to company standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.).
- Demonstrate the ability to safely operate equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain awareness and recognize safety hazards.
- Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Have the physical stamina required for the position and the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
- Ability to work with outdoor elements, odors, dust, fumes, or uneven ground.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.).
