Fabricator - Metal & Wood

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with experience in working with both metal and wood. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to produce high-quality components and assemblies that meet precise specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands‑on craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal and wood components according to specifications.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery such as saws, welders, grinders, drills, and presses.
• Ensure all work meets established quality and safety standards.
• Perform welding, grinding, sanding, and finishing on fabricated parts as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and safe condition.
• Collaborate with team members to solve fabrication challenges and meet production deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure final products meet design and functional requirements.

• Proven experience as a metal and wood fabricator or in a similar trade role.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using fabrication tools, welding equipment, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in fabrication is a plus.
