Compensation: $70,000‑$80,000+ annually

Our client, a leader in large‑scale manufacturing and production operations, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support key accounting processes that ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys analytical work, and is committed to producing high‑quality financial results.

As a Staff Accountant, you will assist with monthly accounting activities, support the month‑end close process, and perform daily and recurring accounting tasks to maintain accurate and reliable financial data. You will also contribute to internal controls, audit preparation, and continuous process improvements.

• Prepare month‑end general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and analyze materials for external audits and external financial reporting
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and maintain documentation of accounting procedures
• Investigate account discrepancies and variances, providing clear explanations
• Execute month‑end close activities and related reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate timelines
• Prepare assigned financial reporting packages
• Complete daily and weekly recurring accounting processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Strong time‑management, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Analytical and mathematical ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, collaboration, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and provide input on key issues
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all business and accounting information
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks
• Commitment to producing quality, accurate results

Preferred

• 2+ years of related accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting practices
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
