We’re seeking a Surge Instructor to lead dynamic, music‑driven classes that blend strength, cardio, and rhythm‑based movement. If you enjoy motivating others, building community, and creating a fun, high‑intensity environment, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Surge Instructor, you’ll help participants stay active, build confidence, and enjoy a challenging, upbeat workout experience. You’ll work closely with the community to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage engagement in group fitness programs for all ages.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead high‑energy Surge sessions that combine functional strength movements, rhythmic flow, and cardio intervals
- Create routines that incorporate music, timing, and pattern‑based movement
- Maintain a safe workout space by enforcing guidelines, monitoring participant activity, and responding appropriately in emergencies
- Adapt instruction for beginners through advanced participants, ensuring classes are inclusive and accessible
- Care for class equipment and ensure proper setup, use, and storage
- Support program growth through community outreach, participant engagement, and promotional efforts
- Complete attendance logs, incident forms, and other required documentation accurately and on time
- Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages teamwork, progress, and personal achievement
- Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance class offerings and overall programming
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the fitness department
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must obtain First Aid; CPR/AED, within 30 days of hire date.
- Fitness Certification or valid certification for the specific class(es) assigned.
- Six (6) months of formal fitness or classroom teaching, or related experience; or, an equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- Part‑time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Note:
You must be able to commute to Queen Creek, AZ.
