About the Role

In this contingent assignment, you will contribute to high-impact engineering initiatives and help solve complex technical challenges across large-scale systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate technical solutions, and help drive execution for projects that support long-term engineering strategy.

This role requires strong analytical ability, technical depth, and the capacity to navigate multi-layered problems that may involve unprecedented or ambiguous factors.
Responsibilities

• Consult on complex engineering initiatives with broad operational and strategic impact.
• Analyze large-scale or multi-dimensional software engineering challenges requiring deep technical evaluation.
• Contribute to the design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation of software solutions and system enhancements.
• Support long-term planning for engineering roadmaps, upgrades, and deployments.
• Review moderately complex technical issues and identify solutions using knowledge of engineering standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Resolve technical challenges while ensuring alignment with business and client needs.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical partners, and client teams to drive outcomes and improve system performance.
• Lead project activities, serve as an escalation point, and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications

Option 1:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
  OR equivalent experience through:
• Consulting
• Technical training
• Military experience
• Academic background

For the lead-level responsibilities within the assignment:

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering (or equivalent as listed above)

Preferred Technical Skills
Minimum Required

• T-SQL
• SSIS
• ETL Development
• Git
• Jira
• Scrum or Kanban

Intermediate

• All minimum skills, plus:
• Oracle
• Teradata
• Auto Sys
• Big Data technologies

Advanced

• All intermediate skills, plus:
• Prior experience in financial/banking environments
• SSAS Tabular Models

Excellent / Ideal Candidate

• All advanced skills, plus:
• Power BI
• Micro Strategy
