Location:
Chandler, Az (Onsite) Duration: 6 + Months Rate:
Up to $95.00/hr BOE Secret Clearance Required Join Northrop Grumman's innovative team as an Embedded Software Engineer and play a critical role in developing cutting-edge systems that impact national security and technological progress. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on revolutionary projects within the Strike Weapons Program, contributing to software development for real-time embedded systems. Located on-site in Chandler, AZ, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to engineering excellence.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related field
* Proficiency in object-oriented software development in C/C++ on Linux
* Experience with embedded real-time software, debugging, and testing
* Familiarity with RTOS environments such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux
* Understanding of full software development lifecycle
* Excellent communication skills
* Active DoD Secret security clearance (investigated within the last 5 years)
* Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Nice to Have
Skills:
* Experience with Power
PC, ARM, or RISC-V architectures
* Knowledge of design, integration, and testing in hardware-in-the-loop environments
* Interface development for weapon system integration Preferred
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant embedded software experience
* Prior work in defense or related industries preferred Other Requirements:
* Telecommuting is not available; on-site work required
* Travel up to 10%
