Newfi is a new age, wholesale lender that specializes in all the right products to help brokers gain a bigger part of the market. The Mortgage Wholesale Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day operations, and proper functioning of the Broker client. This position manages, trains, coaches, recruits, and prospecting of new Broker clients.
Qualifications- Recent mortgage experience in wholesale, retail, FDIC, or correspondent lending
- Driven, self-motivated, organized, collaborative, and a “team player” attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Tech-savvy; experience with CRM, LOS, Marketing tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Make 30–50 cold calls per day to potential clients
- Track contacts in the company’s CRM
- Build and maintain relationships with mortgage brokers
- Maintain sales activity reports and pipeline
- Train brokers on Newfi lending platform, products, policies & procedures
- Ensure loan files are complete and within guidelines
- Work with brokers and loan officers on marketing programs
- Stay updated on underwriting guidelines and program changes
- Provide ongoing support to brokers
- Assist clients in qualifying and becoming approved partners
- Collaborate with operations to grow the loan pipeline
- Support clients with loan scenarios and progression
- Serve as a resource for all mortgage industry questions
- Pass knowledge-based exams at 30/60/90 days and overall testing at 90 days to retain employment
