Job Summary Under general supervision, responsible for all splash pad operations by performing the following duties.# #
Job Description
** All candidates conditionally offered transfer, promotion or initial hiring into a DOT/safety-sensitive position shall submit to testing for drugs and alcohol and test negative before performing any job functions that are safety-sensitive or require a CDL. External job applicants with a confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result shall be denied employment and shall be required to wait one year before applying for another position within Tulsa County.
**** Essential Job Functions
*** Work with Activities Coordinator to create weekly staff schedule.
* Handle cashier duties for splash park and transport money from splash park to community center.
* Works with monitors to submit hourly time correctly and on time in Workday.
* Handle staff absences by finding staff to fill in.
* Handle situations with public and or staff.
* Read and point out rules with patrons at the beginning of every session.
* Work with Maintenance manager and Activity Coordinator for closure of any kind.
* Maintain management of splash park by making sure staff is adhering to park policies and rules.
* Maintain policy of no cell phones for staff on splash park pad.
* Monitor splash park rotations.
* Perform light janitorial duties and splash park maintenance, by cleaning the bathrooms and around the splash park area after every session and end of night.
* Supervises full-time and part-time employees, volunteers and other assigned personnel.
* Observe all splash park activities to ensure a safe environment for all patrons
* Submit records in respect to incidents and accidents.
* Notify Activities Coordinator when supplies are needed and if equipment is in need of repair.
* Work with visitors and staff tactfully and courteously.
* Perform other duties as assigned.# # Additional

** Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
** Skill in identifying unsafe customer behavior.
Knowledge of water safety and of first aid/CPR; and of pump systems and operations.
Ability to use basic hand tools, read meters and water testing kits; to work in a safe and efficient manner; and to walk and stand for extended periods of time; and to work under stress and in extreme heat and loud situations.
** Computer Skills
** Be able to submit time on Workday.
** Supervisory Responsibilities
** Supervises 10-15 employees in the Splash Pad –Park Recreational department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities includes planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
** Education and/or Experience
** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one year of experience in aquatics supervision or three years of experience at a public swimming pool or splash park. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Preferred an associate degree.
** Language Skills
** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization.

** Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences,…
