Beds: 18 LDRP rooms, 14 OB Triage beds, 8 Antepartum beds
Average Deliveries: 8–10 per day, 322–344 per month (~3,863 per year)
C-Section OR Suites: 2 fully equipped ORs
Patient Population:
Laboring patients, Preterm pregnancies (28+ weeks gestation), Post-delivery transfer to Postpartum (PP)
- Strong C-section experience
- Must confidently circulate & recover C-sections; scrubbing not required
- Computer charting experience
- Preferred:
Cerner - Experience titrating Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate (per protocol)
- Certifications
Required:
ACLS, BLS, NRP ⚕️
Following AWHONN guidelines (staffing up toward standards)
Typical Ratios: L&D: 2:1 (based on acuity), Antepartum: 4:1, C-sections: 1:1
