This position is for a travel registered nurse with a strong background in cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical nursing, assigned to emergency department hold units in Chandler, Arizona. The role requires expertise in monitoring cardiac rhythms, titrating drips, and working 12-hour day shifts for a 13-week assignment. The travel nurse must hold current certifications including BLS and ACLS and pass a dysrhythmia exam and a simulation lab on orientation day.

THIS IS A TELE POSITION, REQUIRING TELE SKILLS - PLEASE READ BELOW
***** Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
** Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).
** There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.) # of beds CRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED Beds Ratios 1 to 4 Required certifications BLS, ACLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele Experience MUST HAVE a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years.
Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. (MS/Tele travlers DO NOT need prior travel experience Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone Charge Nurse/House Supervisor ED charge nurse. Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios ED PCTs available RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) No Vents Is there tele on this unit?
Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips
