## Production Planner Intern (Summer 2026)
Chandler, AZ, United States Pac Sci EMC an operating company of Ralliant – is seeking a Production Planning Intern to join our Operations team. This internship is designed for students graduating in 2026–2027 who want hands-on experience in supply and demand planning, work order management, and manufacturing capacity analysis within the aerospace and defense industry.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with supply and demand planning deliverables to support manufacturing cells.
* Help generate and validate work orders using MRP processes, ensuring timely release to manufacturing.
* Support monitoring and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule, including identifying root causes for delays.
* Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering teams to track build plans, backorder status, and potential schedule interruptions.
* Contribute to daily stand-up meetings by providing exception-based reporting on supply variances.
* Assist in analyzing demand forecasts and supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
* Help with inventory reallocation projects to support cost reduction strategies.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects and support cross-functional teams with progress tracking.
* Develop and maintain Excel-based tools for metrics, variance tracking, and risk assessment.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Junior or senior standing in 2026 or 2027, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across functions.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS/CPIM coursework is desirable but not required.
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited guidance.
* Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Pac Sci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR-regulated employer. To comply with ITAR-controlled contracts, this position requires U.S. citizenship.
