McCarthy Building Companies is looking for Electrical Production Technicians for the Chandler, AZ area. In this role, you will support our yard on day-to-day operations, assist our electrical team with daily tasks and duties.

POSITION SUMMARY

Entry-level position requiring no previous experience. Supports basic prefabrication and assembly line tasks for conduit racks, solar combiner boxes, and related assemblies in a controlled shop environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn and apply safe material handling, labeling, and staging practices.
• Assist with measurement, cutting, and basic conduit preparation.
• Support the assembly of electrical prefab components under close supervision.
• Operate hand and power tools safely once trained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Participate in daily Task Hazard Analyses (THA) and safety meetings.
• Communicate clearly with leads and team members regarding issues or shortages.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
• Follow work instructions and prefab diagrams accurately.
• Identify and report potential hazards as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.

Basic understanding of construction or manufacturing safety preferred.

Capable of performing repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
