** Position Summary
** The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations through the safe, accurate, and compliant movement of materials in a highly regulated environment. This role is critical to maintaining production continuity, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Receive and inspect inbound materials
* Pull, kit, stock, and stage production, MRO, and line supplies
* Perform ERP transactions to track and move materials
* Transport explosive and non-explosive materials between buildings and magazines
* Accurately log physical movement of materials
* Ship, mark, label, and document materials in compliance with 49 CFR and IATA regulations
* Create Bills of Lading and coordinate truck pickups and deliveries
* Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
* Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, golf carts, and delivery vans
* Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Adhere to PPE, safety, and compliance requirements
* Perform other duties as assigned
** Qualifications
* ** Approximately 2 years of material handling, inventory, or logistics experience preferred
* Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required
* Ability to obtain internal certification for forklift, golf cart, and delivery van operation
* Ability to obtain 49 CFR and IATA certification post-hire
* Basic computer and ERP proficiency
* High school diploma preferred; degree not required
* Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces
