Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Project Management - Level 3 candidate for our Chandler, AZ facility. This position will support the Systems Engineering team focusing on managing the CDRL/SDRL submittals for the Sentinel program. The Principal Project Management individual will ensure CDRLs/SDRLs are provided per the Integrated Master Schedule, create and update metrics to track status, and improve the process between us and the customer.
Additionally, they will work with leadership to ensure entrance and exit criteria for key milestone meetings, and associated deliverables are planned out and delivered on time.
Chandler, AZ facility (100% onsite in a closed area). No relocation assistance available. Travel:

Clearance type:
Secret. Interim Secret DoD security clearance or higher required. Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher is preferred.
- Identify, track, and deliver CDRLs/SDRLs to the Sentinel customer per the schedule in the IMS.
- Report the status of all CDRLs/SDRLs on at least a monthly basis.
- Understand the entrance and exit criteria for key milestone meetings; ensure that the team delivers all necessary Objective Evidence on time to support the planned meetings; and track compliance to the identified criteria.
- Track and report the status of other program activities as required.
- Collaborate with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the Sentinel deliverables.
- Lead small ad‑hoc teams in the execution of tasking per the Integrated Master Schedule as required.
- Bachelor’s with 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s with 3 years of related engineering experience; or a PhD with no experience.
- Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher – work is performed in a closed area full time (100% onsite / 100% closed area).
- Experience with CDRLs/SDRLs.
- Experience with tracking / metrics of programmatic deliverables.
- Process improvement experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical personnel.
- Experience with compliance to requirements / customer expectations.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance, or higher.
- Control Account Manager / EVMS experience.
- Missile Defense or Command and Control Experience.
- Solid Rocket Motor experience.
- Supplier Management experience.
- SharePoint experience.
- Confluence experience.
- JIRA experience.
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $. The above salary range represents a general guideline;
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers—scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and personal business.
