Manufacturing Engineer
HPAG has a position open for a CAD Designer
. We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our multi-faceted Product Development Team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing product designs for the offroad aftermarket. Our ideal candidate has a background in design for manufacturing and experience with sheet metal and tube weldments/structures. Experience designing machined parts is also preferred. We work solely in Solidworks, extensive experience with this program is necessary
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Design and develop vehicle components.
- Test components in real world scenarios.
- Identify and resolve engineering challenges, including troubleshooting product failures and implementing corrective actions.
- Create packaging designs and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product specifications, design changes, and testing results
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform design decisions and drive innovation.
- Manage quality control documentation and implementation with our QA partners and factories.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, to bring innovative products from concept to market.
